This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Astrologica subscriptions. Our refund policy varies depending on how you subscribed to our Service.
Subscription Platforms
Astrologica offers subscriptions through two platforms:
- iOS Mobile App (via Apple App Store and RevenueCat)
- Web Platform (via Stripe)
Each platform has different refund procedures and policies.
iOS App Store Subscriptions
Managed by Apple
If you subscribed through our iOS mobile app, your subscription is managed by Apple through the App Store. Astrologica does not have direct access to process refunds for App Store purchases.
Apple's Refund Policy
Apple's refund policy applies to all iOS subscriptions. You may be eligible for a refund under certain circumstances, such as:
- Accidental purchases
- Billing errors
- Technical issues preventing access to the Service
- Other situations at Apple's discretion
How to Request a Refund (iOS)
To request a refund for an iOS subscription:
Option 1: Through Apple's Website
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Astrologica subscription purchase
- Click "Report a Problem"
- Select the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request
Option 2: Through the App Store
- Open the App Store on your device
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Tap "Purchase History"
- Find your Astrologica subscription
- Tap "Report a Problem"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
Option 3: Contact Apple Support
- Visit support.apple.com
- Contact Apple Support directly
- Explain your refund request
Important Notes for iOS Users
- Apple typically responds to refund requests within 48 hours
- Refund approval is at Apple's sole discretion
- If your refund is approved, it may take 3-5 business days to process
- If you have questions about the status of your refund, contact Apple Support
- Refunded subscriptions will lose access to premium features immediately
Free Trial Period (iOS)
If you cancel during your 3-day free trial period:
- You will not be charged
- Your premium access continues until the trial ends
- No refund is necessary as no payment was processed
To cancel your free trial before being charged:
- Go to Settings on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select "Astrologica"
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Web Platform Subscriptions (Stripe)
Managed by Astrologica
If you subscribed through our website (astrologica.app), your subscription is processed through Stripe and managed directly by Astrologica.
Our Refund Policy (Web Subscriptions)
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
1. Free Trial Period
- 3-day free trial is included with all new PRO subscriptions
- Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid being charged
- No refund necessary if you cancel before the trial ends
2. Billing Errors
If you were charged incorrectly due to:
- Technical errors
- Duplicate charges
- Billing after cancellation

3. Service Issues
If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing the Service:
- Contact us within 7 days of your charge
- Describe the issue in detail
- We will work to resolve the issue or offer a prorated refund
4. Dissatisfaction (First-Time Subscribers)
For first-time PRO subscribers only:
- Request a refund within 7 days of your initial charge
- Must not have extensively used the Service (more than 7 days of generated horoscopes)
- One refund per customer
5. Annual Subscriptions
For annual ($89.99/year) subscriptions:
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase
- After 14 days, refunds may be provided on a prorated basis at our discretion
- Usage patterns and circumstances will be considered
How to Request a Refund (Web Subscriptions)
To request a refund for a web subscription:

- Any relevant screenshots or details
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.
Refund Processing Time (Web)
Once approved:
- Refunds are processed through Stripe
- Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days
- The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer
- You will receive a confirmation email once processed
Non-Refundable Circumstances (Web)
We generally cannot provide refunds in the following situations:
- Subscriptions active for more than 30 days (unless billing error)
- Services that have been extensively used
- Change of mind after multiple billing cycles
- Failure to cancel before renewal
- Violations of our Terms of Service
However, we evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis.

How to Cancel Your Subscription
iOS Users:

- Select "Astrologica"
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Web Users:
- Log in to your Astrologica account at astrologica.app
- Go to "Account Settings" or "Subscription"
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the confirmation steps
Alternative (All Users):
- Email [email protected] with your cancellation request
What Happens After Cancellation?
- You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Your account remains active with FREE tier access
- Your birth chart and data are preserved
- You can resubscribe at any time
No Partial Refunds for Cancellations
If you cancel your subscription mid-cycle:
- You will not receive a refund for the remaining days
- You retain access until the paid period ends
- This applies to both iOS and web subscriptions
Chargebacks and Disputes

- Chargebacks can result in account suspension
Chargeback Consequences
If you file a chargeback without contacting us:
- Your account may be permanently suspended
- You may lose access to all data and content
- We may dispute illegitimate chargebacks with evidence of service delivery

We prefer to resolve all disputes amicably. If you believe you were charged in error, please email us with details, and we will investigate promptly.
